Izzy Kalman and his program, Bullies to Buddies, are dedicated to solving the problem of bullying — not by trying to rid the world of bullies, which is an impossible task — but by teaching people how not to be victims. No one can bully you if you know how not to be a victim.

Much focus is being given to bullying in schools. The truth is that school is the place where perhaps the least amount of bullying goes on. The divorce rate is not close to 50% because couples are nice to each other. Kids do far more fighting in home than they do in school. If two parents can’t get their own two kids at home to stop fighting with each other, how can they expect teachers, who may have 30 or more kids in their classes, to stop all the fighting?
